The winners will secure production deals and a 100% sponsorship to commission the project, alongside long-term partnerships to produce original content for WinZO TV.

Mumbai, 26th August 2025: WinZO, India’s largest homegrown interactive entertainment platform with a robust ecosystem of 250 million users engaging with a rich platform including over 100 competitive games in esports and social formats across 15 languages, today announced the launch of the WinZO Short Drama Championship, a first-ever global competition designed to give microdrama creators an international stage and global audience.

The winners will secure production deals and a 100% sponsorship to commission the project, alongside long-term partnerships to produce original content for WinZO TV, the company’s newly launched microdrama platform. Beyond financial incentives, participants will have the opportunity to reach WinZO’s 250 million-strong global audience and gain visibility at marquee events. Submissions will be judged on originality and storytelling strength, with final winners selected through audience engagement metrics. Further, WinZO will also partner with them to showcase their stories at key marquee events and to plug-and-broadcast their content.
