Film ‘Demon Hunters’, the first-ever India - Taiwan co-production, is set to premiere across the India subcontinent. After generating strong buzz across global film festivals and enjoying a successful theatrical run, the film will now debut on JioHotstar and Amazon Prime Video on 15th May, expanding its reach to a diverse and multilingual audience. The film will stream in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on JioHotstar, while Amazon Prime Video will offer additional language options including Mandarin and English.

Blending the cinematic strengths of two vibrant industries, Demon Hunters emerges as a genre-defying entertainer that fuses action, horror, comedy, romance, and science fiction. Positioned as a family-friendly spectacle with international appeal, the film reflects a growing trend of cross-cultural storytelling designed to resonate across borders.

Directed by Meijuin Chen and produced by Light House Productions (Taiwan) in collaboration with Kleos Entertainment Group (India), the film features a dynamic cast including Arjan Bajwa, JC Lin, Jack Kao, Harry Chang, and Regina Lei. The production further benefits from the expertise of internationally acclaimed crew members, including teams associated with Jackie Chan’s cinematography and action units.

Technically ambitious, the film boasts over 700 VFX shots, delivering a visually rich cinematic experience. It also breaks new ground musically by combining Taiwanese and Hindi elements into a unified soundtrack. A standout feature is the Bollywood-style number ‘Dadaji Ka Jadoo’, distributed by Sony Music Taiwan.

At its core, the film tells the story of Tommy, a YouTuber known for staging fake exorcisms, whose life takes a dramatic turn when he encounters a real supernatural entity.
